User Guide The ultrafiltration membrane in the Ultrafiltration Centrifugal Filter device contains a small amount of glycerin. To avoid interference, soak the membrane with pure water or add pure water and centrifuge for 5 minutes before use. Discard the liquid prior to sample loading. Once the ultrafiltration membrane gets wet, it needs to remain moist until it is used up. If a prewetted membrane dries out, pore closure or poresize alteration may occur. The ultrafiltration tube is for single‑use only.
